This image installs Ubuntu Server and ISP360 in one workflow. The first web administrator login requires an immediate password change.

Important: this installation erases the selected target disk. Use a new VM or dedicated server and back up all existing data first.
Secure first setup: Use temporary web-admin credentials provided during onboarding, then change the password immediately. Do not expose a newly installed appliance to the public internet before completing first-login setup. Linux administrative access is restricted to authorized operations. Never expose the appliance to the public internet before changing the initial password.

Installation overview

  1. Verify the downloaded image checksum.
  2. Create a fresh VM or prepare a dedicated x86-64 server, and boot the ISO.
  3. Allow Ubuntu and ISP360 Zero-Touch provisioning to complete and reboot.
  4. Visit the appliance's HTTPS panel from a trusted network; the lab image can use a temporary self-signed certificate before DNS/TLS configuration.
  5. Sign in with the temporary web-admin account and choose a new password. Minimum 6 characters, with uppercase, lowercase, digit and symbol.
  6. Configure DNS, network/NAS access and licensing with the ISP360 operations team before exposing the service publicly.

Lab validation used 2 vCPU, 4.5 GB RAM, and an 80 GB virtual disk; these are not production sizing guarantees. Requirements vary with concurrent subscribers and enabled services.
